High School

Our High School program is designed for students who are curious about faith and are eager to discover how a relationship with Jesus can change their lives, their schools, and their communities.

Helping Students

Take Their Faith

to the Next Level

Ascension strives to walk with young adults on their faith journey, recognizing their gifts for ministry, their questions about spirituality, and their desire to make a difference in the world.

Our high school ministry is designed to transition high school students to a mature relationship with Jesus. This includes a deeper understanding of the Bible, expanded opportunities to serve, and fellowship with peers for accountability and encouragement.

If you’re a high school student, please consider joining us on Sunday morning or at Youth Group on Monday evenings.

Sunday School

High school youth attend Sunday school every Sunday from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., following the 10 a.m. service.

Outreach Projects

In addition to outreach activities at the church, such as Christmas caroling, the group has participated in outreach trips, including repairing mountain homes in Appalachia, working at the Episcopal Church on the Wind River Reservation, Wyoming, helping repair tornado ravaged Joplin, Missouri, and participating in a work mission to Jamaica, painting the school, the classrooms, and a mural. They have also made pilgrimage trips to such places as France, Scotland, and England.
