Lee Cobb, our carillonneur and organist, was
formerly assistant carillonneur at Bok Tower in Lake Wales,
is an adjudicator for the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America,
is a composer of carillon music,
& plays throughout the U.S. & the Netherlands.

Bring a picnic, lawn chair & friends to enjoy a relaxing summer
evening of songs under the oaks on our 49-bell carillon!
Or park under the tower & listen from your car.

The Betty Jane Dimmitt Memorial Carillon was built in 1982,
& is one of only four carillons in the state of Florida.
Its 49 tuned bells, housed in a 75-foot tower,
were cast at the Royal Eijsbouts Foundry in Holland.
The bells encompass four octaves & range
in size from 31 pounds to 2.5 tons.
The carillon is played year-round in conjunction
with worship services, concerts, weddings & funerals.

Join one of our tenor section leaders as he says goodbye to Ascension,
on his way to an expanded career of concertizing & opera performances in Europe.
He is moving to Leipzig, Germany, the hometown of J.S. Bach.

The Ascension pipe organ was crafted in 2003 to the glory of God
by the Canadian organ builder, Orgues Létourneau Ltée of St. Hyacinthe, Quebec.
This world-class instrument comprises
3,235 pipes in the Gallery Organ
and 947 pipes in the Chancel Organ.
